At ACHTUNG, we care very much about building a family. All the talents like photographers, stylists, designers, hair and makeup and most importantly models are a group that has been working with us for many years. In the case of our Berlin chief photographer Gregor Hohenberg who just posted an exciting motocross editorial here, since the beginning of the magazine 20 years ago. Staying in touch, updating each other and publishing their work is one of our missions. When it comes to models it is the same. We like repeat performances and have been doing shoots with Kati Nescher for more than a decade now or her agency friend Lena Hardt. Whether they are super in or not. We keep on working together. One of our latest discoveries is Louisa Ganzel who was brought to our attention by Viva Paris agency director Alex Schwab. Viva Paris is one of the best modeling agencies in the world. They have a small roster and really handpick the girls. Alex said that Louisa has a unique talent for moving and dancing and so we hired her for our latest issue Lebensmittel to dance up a storm in the kitchen of Yannick Alléno’s three star restaurant Pavillon Ledoyen. We were so impressed with this young North Friesian who told us she grew up in a circus, that we decided to bring back our concept Hausbesuch from a previous issue and spend a week on her home island Föhr for an IG takeover. The material was developed by our editor Evelyn Tye and Louisa and her friends and family and is simply magic. Louisa horseback riding, eating, cooking, playing the guitar or dancing. It shows what a magnificent effort was put in and speaks to the core of our ACHTUNG mission: Keeping it real.
