The uniquely beautiful style used by photographer Shahin Hefter in this editorial immediately reminded us of the legendary Italian fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, whose exhibition you can currently visit in Palais Galliera in Paris. The long-time Comme des Garçons collaborator mastered the art of capturing photographs that simultaneously feel dated and timeless and always exude dreamlike and ethereal qualities. Shahin Hefter used a similar style to capture the young men for this editorial creating a mysterious and beautiful setting while stylists Nathalie Sicart and Dejana Marković even worked with a designer fresh out of university, underground Paris labels and their personal stock. One of the designs displayed below is by IFM student Paco (see our story on Paula Dischinger). His jacket used in this editorial was inspired by pilot jackets and aircraft design.
