Tanz als Bewegung. Eine Metapher der Freiheit. Seelen werden berührt. Herzen gehen ein ewiges Band ein. Die Liebe Coco Chanels zum Tanz begann mit der Freundschaft zweier Frauen: „Ohne Misia wäre ich als Dummkopf gestorben“, gestand Coco.  Misia Sert führte Chanel 1917 in die künstlerische Avantgarde ein, durch sie traf sie nicht nur Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau, Igor Strawinsky – ihren späteren Geliebten – sondern auch Sergei Diaghilev, Impresario und Gründer des Ballets Russes. Für sein Ballett begann sie Kostüme zu entwerfen, in denen die Tänzer:innen zum Mittelpunkt wurden statt von Tüll überfrachtet zu werden. So wie in Virginie Viards aktueller Haute-Couture-Vision: Spitzenbordüren, Blumenstickereien und weiße Strumpfhosen vorgetanzt als Sister Act von den Schwestern/besten Freundinnen, Padani und Dhyani Kandagama.
