Sometimes it doesn’t take much to create a good fashion story. In a time where concepts of fashion editorials read more like a manual or an art scholar’s crack at reviewing a fashion concept with words being thrown around loosely describing everything but nothing at the same time, this submission by photographer Ramona Reuter in collaboration with stylist Alessia Ryazanova came to us like a breath of fresh air. Good fashion, a cool model and all put into place through the lens of Reuter. Don’t get us wrong, we’re also a bit tired of the current simplicity of communication through fashion imagery – just look at the current campaigns by fashion’s leading players like Prada or Gucci: Monotone backdrops, non exciting facial expressions, static posing. Sometimes playing into the effortless story-telling, when done right, can feel fresh. Like the Saint Laurent Fall 2025 campaign brining back forgotten glamour, mixing it with a bit of sleaze but still keeping it future focused. Sometimes, even in fashion, less truly is more.
