Every four years, the summer cannot get any better because the World Cup is on. Football continues to grow and so does fashion’s interest in the players. Paolo Maldini for Stone Island, Kylian Mbappé for Dior, João Neves for Ami Paris or Jonathan Tah for MCM. Tah invited us into his home in Munich wearing SEPP’s selection of progressive fits, Ami Paris sent over a box of clothes from Paris to Berlin for shooting star Leopold Querfeld, and we climbed on a Brooklyn rooftop with Colm Dillane, aka KidSuper, who has built his business based on a football-fashion ethos, we created our first merch together with some friends at Versace and Selfridges, went to MCM’s home town Munich, German’s football capital and asked Niklas-Wilson Sommer and Sidney Friede some questions about the new, digital age of football. Oh, and we take the visual temperature on how united the States are in 2026.
