Milan Men’s S/S 2025 Highlights Part 2

Fendi is looking for change

Fendi S/S 2025 Men’s

The heat is on at Fendi. If rumors are to be believed, then Alessandro Michele already had the job after several interviews with Mr. Arnault but then things changed at the last minute, and he went to the fellow Romans at Valentino. Apparently, heads had to roll for this potential billion-dollar mistake as Michele’s fantasy and poetry were seen as ideal ignition points for a new Fendi, a much bigger Fendi. On top, Michele and the Fendi family could have happily co-existed. So, while none of this went through, LVMH still deployed a new CEO in Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou who was very much present backstage to face the press and the Fendi tribe clad in a slim fitting suit with a Fendi logo belt.  Angeloglou very much made an impression and seemed thrilled to take over the baton from Serge Brunschwig. But enough of the executive talk, Silvia Fendi made a move as well. She left her headquarter on Via Solari which her shows have now outgrown to put on a big show on the other side of town in the Maxi studio to great effect. In line with the current trend of including the references to football as the Euro has started with an Italian victory last night, she put lots of football jerseys under her clean and clear suiting and even had the Italian national football team on her mood board hanging out at the airport in Fendi regalia. There we go, Silvia in fact has enjoyed her freedom and anchors her men’s clothes in technical innovation and simple silhouettes that put fourth the house strength in leather applications.

The Madras moment?

Always zeroing in on a few clever collection signifiers, Silvia had her sights set on a green Madras fabric which came in pants, jackets, coats and even on hats as worn backstage by her daughter Delfina.

…and even ties.

The new shoe?

With leather being a core to the brand, the hybrid espadrille meets Moroccan Babouche sandal in shiny colors looked new and fresh and accessorized every look.
