Animal prints have been in fashion since the very beginning of human civilization. Right from the moment when we started hunting down animals and putting their skins on our backs. Hundreds of thousands of years have passed and the trend is not going anywhere. The difference is that animal prints are not as useful as a method of becoming invisible in the environment, they rather make you stand out from the crowd (same with camouflage). And the methods of production are somewhat less cruel.
