Funnily enough, it’s been almost a year to the day since photographer Carl Niklas submitted his last editorial for ACHTUNG. What stood out back then—and still does today—is the intriguing way he captures models and clothes in what appear to be candid shots, yet is clearly meticulously draped and directed. His stories exude a calm, minimal yet slightly raw atmosphere, all in the service of bringing stylist Wiktor Chmielewski’s selection of smaller, fashion-forward labels into focus, including Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Coperni, Marrknull, and Vaquera.
