SEPP against Colette
Who would’ve thought? SEPP Football Fashion put together a small designer squad to play against colette, the coolest store in Paris during Haute Couture week
The date was set many weeks before the Euro started and the schedule for the Haute Couture was revealed. All of sudden the 6pm match of our football fashion magazine’s team against colette whose line-up consisted of sales staff led by their communications man Guillaume Salmon was on the same time slot as the Vetements and MiuMiu shows. But since we take our football seriously, there was no excuse. SEPP was represented by designer Aldo Maria Camillo who made Cerruti the talk of the town and Damir Doma who has made Milan his new home where he seems to have matured into a directional and edgy creator. Also, fashion photographer Markus Pritzi as goalkeeper and SEPP founder and Achtung Mode editor Markus Ebner showed up in the fan zone on the Champs de Mars on a rainy afternoon.
Just like the German team who did not find a way to beat France, the French had the upper hand at the end winning 9 to 7 against the SEPP squad. Colette´s Salmon was a tough defender and some of their staff seem to not only be talented on the sales floor but also know how to handle a football. It was two halves of 30 minutes of five against five and even if the match finished early, the SEPP editorial team was so exhausted that going to another fashion show was simply impossible. We share with you a few impressions here. Next time, we will win!
