Fresh and punchy

Knitwear king Paolo Gerani’s mini empire keeps on growing and growing. His deal with Alessandro dell’Acqua for No.21 is a significant success and his new Iceberg men’s collection with London-based James Long at the helm is fresh and punchy.  Going back to 1974 when Jean Charles Castelbajac did the first logo for the knitwear brand, Long worked around exactly that triangular color mix of red, yellow, blue and black to highlight a sportswear inspired line-up of bombers and sweatshirts. It was graphic, strong and easy with just the right dash of irony like the blown-up Mickey Mouse sweaters that closed the show.
