Etro S/S 2016

Etro’s fresh tailoring statement

While many brands are trying to muscle their way into Etro territory which stands for sophisticated clothing for a long weekend, the brand has always stayed ahead. This season Kean Etro went for a new silhouette with knee-length coats and deep V-neck sweaters and T-shirts combined with tapered pants and cool loafers.

Etro has found an effective way to show his collection by setting up a giant screen to project mini films that underline his quirky vision. This season he found beautifully faded palazzos in Mexico, Torino and even southern Germany to set an elegant getaway mood.

Etro is at the forefront of designers who embrace the single-button suit and jacket and he sent them out in a beautiful color palette of minerals kicked up by the occasional flash of color as bright orange and blue. This season, the Etro man also loves a suede tunic. Adding in a little paisley, a signature for the brand, Etro showed a strong line-up, which will appeal to his core customers and set a new standard in the tailoring department.
