    2. It's official. My co-editor, best man and best friend Godfrey Deeny is the new fashion critic of Le Figaro in Paris. This is one of the most important positions in fashion as Paris is the world's fashion capital. And Le Figaro is the capital's number one newspaper and shapes fashion opinions internationally .

Virginie Mouzat, who previously held the post has moved on to the new French Vanity Fair. She made a name for herself by tearing apart Tom Ford's F/W 2013 women's collections. Her original Le Figaro review was spread all over the web and got translated into several languages.

Godfrey's title is editor-at-large and he will be writing reviews about the most important fashion shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris. After the Slimane at Saint Laurent and Simons at Dior debuts, Godfrey's first round of reviews for fall/winter 2014 already sees a lot of controversy and heat with Alexander Wang's debut at Balenciaga. Le Figaro expects a critical and analytical eye from Deeny. Hold your breath!

Godfrey will no longer write about the men's shows for The Financial Times but will exclusively file his reviews on our website www.achtung-mode.com. This will start with the men's shows in Milan in January 2013.

As I will continue writing reviews for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and Magazin, we offer a new level of in-depth coverage!
