BAUHAUS BILD
We travel to Tel Aviv to discover its fantastic Bauhaus architecture and beautiful people. From Anna Wintour’s first cover model for American Vogue Michaela Bercu to Israel’s latest model sensation Theila Rich, we photographed them all in spring’s best fashion. Plus, Gregor Hohenberg finds inspiration in Oskar Schlemmer’s painting.
BARBARA BERGER
We haven’t had the chance to shoot summer fashion in warm locales as our first issues were solely focused on Germany. And it’s cold here in December and January. For our tenth issue, things are different and we went to Florida to shoot Barbara Berger from Brazil in the season’s latest swimwear. Like a lot of brazilian beauties, Barbara‘s grandfather is from Germany.
NO EDITION
It doesn’t happen often that radically new things are invented in fashion. But German design duo Christian Niessen and Nicole Lachelle are doing exactly that. They are breaking new ground
by introducing desktop publishing to fashion. Using distorted newspaper images, they serialize
one-of-a-kind clothing by issuing every print only once: no editions.

Achtung likes to focus on quirky men’s fashion shoots. Since we find most men’s fashion way too serious and hung up, our photographer Jork Weismann continues to find ways to make a model
look different in a suit.

The man needs no introduction. One of the most influential designers in the world is hot again. New partnerships with Dr. Martens, Mikimoto and others, new stores, five years with adidas on Y-3. Godfrey Deeny took a trip to Tokyo to meet up with the soft-spoken design enigma. What he found out: the night never seems to end with Yohji.
